Dermaplaning

This 2-day course will introduce you to one of the most successful and popular skin care
techniques in the medical and Esthetic industry today. Dermaplaning is a method of
exfoliation that consists of using a 10-gauge scalpel to gently remove the top layer of
dulling dead skin cells and vellus hair in order to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion.
It allows for greater product penetration of skin care products and creates a flawless
canvas for makeup. Class theory includes a review on skin and skin typing,
contraindications, and indications. Students will work on their body, each other and two
models.
